THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT PLASTIC

Plastic will outlive us
Plastic takes 500 years or longer to decompose.  That means every single piece of plastic that has ever been made has not decomposed yet. And so it will go for 450 more years.

most plastics mimic hormones
95% of plastic items produced today, even the ones labeled BPA-free, release chemicals that act like estrogen in the body.  That's right, even things like the new "safe" plastic baby bottles are pumping tons of extra sex hormones into our children.  For the health of your baby, switch to glass or stainless steel immediately.

Don't Trust The Government To Protect You
Despite every independent scientific study claiming the opposite, the FDA says “BPA used in food packaging does not present a risk to consumer health."  Fun fact: the FDA and EPA are largely staffed by former employees and lawyers from chemical and biotech companies such as Monsanto.
